What happens after you send the form

We review your request and call or text you back to confirm an appointment window. Most appointments are scheduled within a few days; urgent problems — smoke in the room, an animal in the flue, a strong odor — get priority. Repairs are quoted in writing after an inspection.

Before the visit

• Let the fireplace cool completely.
• Clear the hearth area and move anything fragile.
• Note when you first noticed the problem and whether it happens during rain.
